Gulf Education

Gulf Education, created by Gulf Conferences Ltd. is a multi-day conference and exhibition. The conference theme changes each year to addresses the future needs, challenges and opportunities facing the education sector in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and brings together experts from different countries that have or are developing solutions along with speakers who will give a global perspective. Time at the conference will be split between plenary sessions and more interactive smaller workshop sessions.Originally named, Qatar Education and launched in 2011 it had an overwhelming response, attracting prestigious sponsors and high-profile attendees alike. The specialized conference program took place in London and provided a solid platform for Qatari delegates and international participants to enter discussions and form partnerships – driving educational development in Qatar.

Significant interests and feedback and international attendees highlighted a strong demand for the next years event to widen its geographical remit in order that institutions and educational partners might expand their discussions and possible presence throughout the Gulf region. Organically, the event has become Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition 2012 and will act as a showcase to commitment and investment of the GCC countries to an extensive yet well-targeted global education audience.

In 2015, following four successful years in London and in response to huge demand, the organizers moved the event from London to Gulf Region. The 5th Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition, held in Abu Dhabi was kindly hosted at the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research, under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development of the United Arab Emirates.
