Jeddah – For the 3rd time in a row, The UK Marketing and Communication Academy (MarCom) is a Media Partner and proudly sponsoring Annual Gulf Education Conference & Exhibition. Delegates at the 6th annual Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition have heard the continued development of the GCC’s workforce depends on improving the Education for Society.

 

The Conference, held in Jeddah, will bring together 50,000 students and their families to attend and meet directly with international education institutions from across the region, along with global experts in education. The focus of this year’s event will be on Improving Education for Society – an issue of great relevance to governments, students, and educators throughout the region.

 

The program will be led by David Lock, Gulf Conference advisory board Chairman. David is passionate about the role of education in society and has many years of experience developing relationships in the Gulf region. The Conference is strategically supported by the Saudi Ministry of Education, the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) Secretary General H.E. Abdulatif Al-Zayani.

 

The Secretary of Federation of GCC Chambers, H.E Abdulrahim Hassan Naqi stated:

 

“This conference will further examine the challenges as well as the many opportunities that exist for the education sector in the region. It is looking to foster a better understanding of the near future education needs of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and is dedicated to facilitating international partnerships that will support global education programs and student recruitment between government institutions, academies, schools, and universities”.

 

The conference will further focus on the critically important themes of Education for Women, Educational Innovation, Special Needs Education, Critical Thinking, and Education Management.

 

Senior-level speakers and delegates will be hosted who will have the opportunity to network with representatives from ministries of higher education, ministries of vocational training, general education service providers, universities, industry leaders and ambitious students.

 

Visitors will meet directly with senior representatives from government ministries, over 500 GCC and Arab education and industry leaders and many young people who are making the decision about their future direction in education. These meetings combined with plenty of networking opportunities are sure to provide everyone with the chance to build solid relationships going forward and meet the needs of all who attend.
